“We really couldn’t believe what we found inside that tiny house,” Tulsa deputy Dwayne Scott said. “She had them stacked in plastic carriers, just row after row of them. Most of them were in pretty bad shape.”

A owner of a popular dog training and kennel business has been busted in Tulsa tonight on animal cruelty charges. According to the sheriff’s department, it was the worst case of animal hoarding they have ever seen. One deputy, Mike Anderson, described it as a “concentration camp for animals” to the local NBC affiliate.

Here’s the story from Little Things:

The county sheriff’s office in Tulsa, Oklahoma, recently investigated a hoarding case in their town.

Apparently, a woman by the name of Marjorie Satterfield, who actually runs her own highly-rated dog training and kennel business, was discovered to have been hoarding over 120 animals in her own home.

The police found 106 dogs, seven cats, six birds, and four chickens cramped into Satterfield’s small home and were so overwhelmed by the horrific conditions inside that they called the Humane Society of Tulsa for backup.

They later discovered nine dog carcasses frozen in her freezer.

The humane society suspects that many of these animals actually belong to Marjorie’s clients and are currently being scanned for microchips and returned to their homes.

In light of the living conditions in the house, Marjorie has been arrested and will be charged with multiple counts of animal cruelty.

Police plan on further investigating Marjorie’s business as a whole despite the fact that online reviews for her services are mostly positive.

Luckily, all the animals have been removed from the home and are currently being taken care of by the Humane Society of Tulsa.

Since being taken into custody at the Tulsa city jail, Mrs. Satterfield has received multiple death threats. A source at the detention center, who wished to remain nameless, speculated to a local reporter that he believes the threats are coming from former customers.

At this time, it’s unknown how the animals in her freezer died.

We will keep an eye on this story and post updates as they become available…

How much time in jail should she get for this?
