Woman Adopts a Shelter Cat, Then Goes Back and Adopts the Cat’s 16-Year-Old Best Friend

The large amount of pets without forever homes is not something pet lovers want to think about.  We’d love to be able to save them all, but we aren’t superheroes.

The best we can do is work as a team, and at least adopt 1, right?  Well, a woman pulled her weight by adopting an older cat of her own.

She felt great about adopting 11-year-old, Mojo, and he was happy to find a new home.

Then she stepped up and did something admirable…

Meet Mojo and Max.  They are best pawls!

The Anne Arundel County Animal Control in Maryland reported on Facebook, “About a month ago, this lady adopted Mojo, an 11-year-old cat who came to the shelter with another cat, Max, who is 16.”

Then the shelter reported, the woman opened her heart, “Mojo has been a wonderful pet, she said, but she couldn’t get Max out of her mind.  ‘The idea of him living out his life in a cage just broke my heart,’ she said.”

Max and Mojo are happy to be living together and out of the shelter.  How cute is their story!  It gave us the goosebumps!
