This Soldier Adopted a Dog in Iraq and Thought He’d Never See Him Again, But Watch What Happens…

The best way into a soldier’s heart is through his dog.  Soldiers fighting in the Middle East are known for forming special bonds with their dog partners.  Dogs are routinely used to help find explosives and complete other tasks using their amazing sense of smell.

During his time in Iraq, Wyrsch took a stray puppy under his wing he later named Ollie.  Ollie was always there to provide Wyrsch comfort during those rough days.  Wyrsch said, “He [Ollie] was there when we left on our missions, he was there when we got back.”

When he was forced to leave Ollie behind, it broke his heart.  He couldn’t live with himself if he didn’t do something about it…
