Famous Hollywood Actor Flaunts Tattoo He Dedicated to the Puppy He Saved

Famous actors have the star power to make a difference in this world and when used to help animals, they can really help boost awareness.  Actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan became famous for his roles in Grey’s Anatomy and more recently in The Walking Dead.

Morgan got a tattoo on his forearm for a beloved friend.  The tattoo says “Bisou.”  It’s not the name of a friend, lover or family member, it’s the name of a dog he saved more than twelve years ago…

Actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan is most well known for his roles in Grey’s AnatomyThe Good Wife, and The Walking Dead.  He recently showed off a tattoo he devoted to a friend…

Over twelve years ago, Morgan was taking a stroll in Venice Beach, California and bumped into a few kids selling puppies out of a cardboard box…

When he asked them how much, they told him $300 per puppy.  Morgan looked deep into the box and saw a puppy struggling to live.  He asked how much for “the one’s that not gonna make it through the day?”  The children accepted $20 dogs for the dog…

When he brought the puppy home, he didn’t think she would make it through the night.  He brought her to the vet to be examined…

The little pup continued to soldier on and make a full recovery.  She became best friends with Jeffrey’s other dog, Bandit…

Morgan appeared on the Bonnie Hunt talk show in 2009 and told Bisou’s heartwarming story.  “I bottle fed her for a month, and she used to kiss her way around, which is how she got her name Bisou — it means ‘kiss’ in French.”  After twelve years, Bisou passed away after being saved by Morgan.  Her spirit will now live on through his tattoo!  Don’t forget to share Bisou’s heartwarming story with your pals!
